The
Kerr County Area Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM) is a cooperative
effort among Kerr County churches to help people in need. CAM provides
food, clothing, medications and help with rent and utility bills.
CAM
tries to help those in need learn to help themselves. While we are
interdenominational and espouse no one creed, we try to guide people to
sources of spiritual help as well as the material help they need. CAM
works closely with other community agencies and government assistance
programs to help clients locate the best resources to help them. CAM
has no paid staff; all workers are volunteers from member churches.
At
CAM, Christians from many denominations follow one simple commandment:
to love one another as He has loved us, and, in so doing, serve as
instruments of His grace in the world.
